Basic Safety Training (STCW tables A-VI/1-1, 1-2, 1-3 and 1-4)
Basic Safety Training (STCW tables A-VI/1-1, 1-2, 1-3 and 1-4) is a mandatory course for all seafarers regardless of position and responsibilities onboard. The course is approved by the Norwegian Maritime Authorities.
The course is divided into two parts: E‐learning theory and practical exercises. One completes the theoretical parts through e‐learning and conducts the practical exercises at a training facility. This reduces numer of days at the training facility, as well as saving you time and money. Contact a training facility near you to arrange the practical training.
The course content is according to STCW and consist of 4 modules:
1) Personal Survival Techniques
2) Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting
3) Elementary First Aid
4) Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities
